Clinton derangement syndrome continues to hold its sufferers in its tight grip, despite Clinton's concession speech and pledge to support Obama. Despite the fact that she has "moved on" to important work in the Senate. No surprise there, since CDS appears to be a long-term disease with no apparent cure. The latest issue to aggravate CDS symptoms is an attempt by some Clinton supporters to get/keep Clinton's name on the ballot in Denver. Now I know from many threads on SHakesville that a lot of people assume that Clinton's name is going to be on the ballot and that there is going to be an actual vote at the Convention. But apparently Pelosi and Reid are pushing to get Clinton's name off the ballot, and nothing would please certain Obama supporters more than to completely disappear Clinton and remove any influence she might have over the party platform.
Naturally, certain people see this as OMG Clinton will stop at nothing! She'll destroy the party!!!ELEVENTYONE!!11111!!! All because she apparently hasn't publically told people to stop supporting her strongly enough, so she's fostered this kind of response. But hint that Obama has fostered a hostile, sexist response to Clinton supporters, and you'll be instantly labeled a dried-up, humorless PUMA possibly in the pocket of Republicans. The double standard never ends!

Have you gotten a load of this yet? I've personally filed it under the "un-fucking-believable" category. Also filed under "Way to shoot yourself in the foot, doofuses."

OMG... what the fuck are they thinking??
Hint: They're not. :P I'm personally hoping for a Shakesville smackdown...
I'd love to see it torn to shreds at Shakesville. Otherwise I might have to rant about it here.
Liss sez she's on it. :)
