Our friends at Fox news have found the silver lining. Dear Ms Sacramone, at least you're still a hottie!
I wish I was joking.
An accomplished gymnast who helped her team place in the Olympics, and she is still just a body to be rated for its fuckableness. She should really just take pride in the fact that a lot of men want to fuck her. So many, in fact, that Fox tells us that "In the moments after Tuesday's heartbreaking loss to China, Google searches for "Alicia Sacramone is hot" were at volcanic levels, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. Olympics viewers logged on to find photos of the 20-year-old Massachusetts native." Woo! Forget the gymnastics, THAT is an accomplishment for a girl to be proud of!
But the worst line comes at the very end of the article. It was enough to make me physically ill. After suitable attention to her actual sport, we are told that many people have continued to watch her routine online. But if you silly wimmins are thinking that she could possibly be admired for her skill, Fox is here to remind you what women are really for:
A comment on one of her Facebook tribute pages could explain why: "SHE'S 20, so she's not jailbait!" a post reportedly said.
Yeah! We like to watch her because fucking her wouldn't be RAPE. Now that's a compliment!

I hate fox. This is infuriating.
thank you.
It seems especially offensive, even for Fox. Especially since it's filed under World News: 2008 Olympics.
I can't believe the included the facebook comment. What's next? coverage of youtube commenters???
LOL, seriously!
FOX news: Epic fail.
i think i just threw up in my mouth a little.

OFFS!
Hi Astraea, nice digs.
WTF?!?! Fox News gets worse every day. And since when is Facebook the source to go to? Yet another example of why people should never try to be hip. Either you are unintentionally, or you aren't. Leave it alone. Please. For your sake and ours.
Geebus, that's appalling, Astraea. Just fcuking grim.
Hi all, thanks for visiting!
Not quoting anonymous posters online should be rule #1 in journalism. That is so much fail.

Write an article about a campaign to end honor killings, or some breaking discovery in cervical cancer research, or women's advancements and challenges in the workplaces over the last 50 years and you end up in the "Style" section.
Write something on who dudes want to bone and it's Super Important Front Page World Nooz!
Sometimes the only thing I can say to this crap is "Really? Seriously?!" 25 years living in the Patriarchy and I am still surprised by the shit that it pulls.
